Sports card - Sports card is a generic term for a trading card with a sports-related subject, as opposed to editorial trading cards that deal with other topics. Sports cards were among the earliest, and remain one of the most popular, forms of collectibles.
Wild card (sports) - In North American professional sports leagues, the term wild card refers to a team that qualifies for championship playoffs without winning their specific subdivision (usually called a conference or division) outright. The number of wild card teams varies.
Yellow card - A yellow card is used in many sports as a means of cautioning a player regarding their conduct, or indicating that a player is to receive a certain level of punishment.
Red card - A red card is used in many sports as a means of indicating that a player has received a certain level of punishment, typically that they have been sent off (expelled from the game).
